PIA Kingdom Youth Ministries

About Us.

Youth ministry, is a Christlike, age-specific group. It caters towards getting youth, typically ages 12-25, involved in faith-based activities and spiritual awakening. The PIA Youth Ministry is under the Acting Leadership of Delores Konadu-Adjei. Delores is a student at Delaware State University pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in nursing and also Praise and Worship leader at the same church.

Purpose of Youth Ministry

Youth is the future of our society. The young generation simply needs to renew, refresh, and maintain the current status of society. When the youth contributes their ideas and energy to resolve social issues, they become capable leaders who with the help of God can make a difference in the lives of others. The Purpose of the Youth Ministry is therefore:

To teach young people within the church to continue trusting and growing in their relationship with God. This experience will propel them to be faithful to Christ in all they do as they get older.
To assist teens, integrate into the larger, multicultural community of the church.
To focus on inviting those who are not part of the Kingdom of God into the deeper narrative of God’s plan.
To help them understand that young Christians are not insignificant members of the body of Christ, but co-creators and conspirators in the divine work of the Kingdom of God.
To help the young Christians focus on the way of Jesus, which goes beyond tradition, dogma, and work.

Events and Program

The Youth Ministry events and programs are designed for youth to experience opportunities in Evangelism, Spiritual Formation, Christian Leadership, and Fellowship. Under her leadership, the PIA Youth activities strive to provide:

A safe, loving, and wholesome atmosphere for young Christians
A program which helps young Christians to develop their faith in Christ
A variety of worship experiences that help the young Christians to connect with God and one another
Teaching about the Apostolic Mandate
Participating in a food drive or going to a food bank to help with organization
Participating in a clothing drive
Clean-up day at the church
Our hope is to raise young people who are committed to Christ and have the Christian Leadership experience to make a difference in the society.

Scheduled Meetings:

October 2024

we will meet in person on the Saturday from 1:00 pm- 2:00pm, we will discuss, meeting scheduling, new events and fundraisers and topics concerning our youth.

November 2024

we will meet via Zoom, on the Saturday from 1:00 pm- 2:00pm, we will discuss, meeting scheduling, new events and fundraisers and topics concerning our youth.

December 2024

we will meet in person on the Saturday from 1:00 pm- 2:00pm, we will discuss, meeting scheduling, new events and fundraisers and topics concerning our youth.
